Because our research peptides are prepared under controlled environmental conditions and follow regulated storage protocols, we must apply specific handling requirements to all returns and refunds.
Please read the following policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures.

1. Returns
Return Window:
We accept returns within 14 days from the date of delivery (not purchase). This shorter window is necessary to preserve the integrity of temperature-sensitive research materials.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet all of the following conditions:
Unopened and sealed in its original, factory-sealed packaging
Unused and in the exact same condition you received it
Stored properly at the recommended temperature (see product label) before return shipment
Return initiated within the 14-day window
Non-Returnable Items (see Section 5 for full list):
Opened, used, or improperly stored products cannot be returned for any reason.
Return Process:
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@thepeptilab.com to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.
Returns received without an RA number clearly marked on the package will not be processed and may be discarded.
We will provide you with the correct return shipping address upon issuing the RA number.
Return Shipping:
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., wrong item shipped) or a verified defective product.
We strongly recommend using a trackable, insulated shipping service (e.g., UPS Next Day Air or USPS Priority with temperature protection). The Peptide Lab cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, nor can we accept liability for degradation during return transit.

2. Refunds
Inspection & Approval:
Once we receive your returned item, our quality control team will inspect it under controlled conditions to verify:
The seal is intact and unbroken
The product shows no signs of improper storage (e.g., heat damage, freezing)
The RA number matches our records
We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5–7 business days of receiving the return.
Processing:
If your refund is approved:
It will be automatically processed to your original method of payment (credit card, debit card, or digital wallet).
Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.
Non-Refundable Charges:
The following charges are non-refundable in all cases:
Original shipping and handling fees
Return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)
Partial Refunds:
Partial refunds may be granted (at our sole discretion) in situations including:
Items returned after the 14-day window but within 21 days (subject to a 25% restocking fee)
Items with minor, non-compromising packaging damage

3. Damaged or Defective Products
Immediate Notification Required:
In the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective product (e.g., broken vial, seal compromised upon arrival, visible degradation), you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Assessment Process:
To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide:
Your order number
Photographic evidence (clear photos of the damage or defect)
A brief description of the issue
The storage conditions from delivery until discovery
Resolution Options:
Depending on the specific circumstances, we will offer one of the following:
Replacement – A new product shipped at no cost to you (our preferred resolution)
Full refund – Including original shipping fees
Store credit – For the full purchase price, plus a 10% credit bonus as an apology
✅ We follow rigorous controlled storage protocols at every stage. If a product arrives compromised, it is an extremely rare event, and we will make it right.

4. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges for change-of-mind reasons.
If you wish to exchange a product for a different peptide or a different quantity:
Follow the standard return process above to receive a refund for the original item (subject to eligibility)
Place a new order separately on our website for the desired product
This ensures accurate inventory tracking and proper handling of each research compound.

5. Non-Returnable Items
For reasons of health, safety, research integrity, and regulatory compliance, the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

Orders of $500 or more (unless defective – see Section 3)
Free samples or promotional items
Any product received at no cost
Final sale or clearance items
Products explicitly marked “Final Sale” on the product page

6. Cancellations
Before shipment: You may cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it by contacting support@thepeptilab.com. After 2 hours, your order may already be in our processing queue.
After shipment: Once an order has been shipped, it is subject to this full Refund and Returns Policy. You may refuse delivery, but shipping fees will not be refunded, and the returned item must remain unopened to be eligible for any refund.

8. Important Notes
This policy applies only to purchases made directly from The Peptide Lab via https://thepeptilab.com/.
If you purchased our products from a third-party retailer, distributor, or marketplace, please refer to that vendor’s respective return and refund policy. We cannot process returns for items sold by other vendors.
The Peptide Lab reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
All returns and refunds are subject to our fraud prevention protocols. We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of suspected abuse or policy violations.
